Lilja 百合

Lilja is an outstanding teacher, knowledgable, skilled, deeply embedded in both languages we are using, able to reach into metaphors and different meanings with ease. She has a warm, encouraging, easy manner which helps build confidence as well as skill. I am thoroughly enjoying my classes and would give Lilja my highest recommendation.

I’ve just started having lessons with Lilja, and I can already tell she’s an amazing teacher. She’s always so engaged in the lessons and makes incredibly valuable corrections to my Norwegian. I really appreciate her help with my Norwegian so far.

She is great at explaining grammar rules in an easy way and making sure that I get a lot of speaking practice. I have taken many Norwegian classes over the last few years, both in group settings at language schools but also private lessons, and am very glad that I found Lilja. I feel like I am making more progress than before since her lessons are actually adapted to my level of Norwegian. Every class is interesting and super fun, I always look forward to them!

I can definitely recommend Liljas lessons very much! I have had two lessons with her so far and have already booked weekly lessons for the next two months. She is very patient and supportive during the lesson, how ever long you need to find your words; and corrects words, pronounciation and grammar in a very friendly and helpful way. She also provides a great structure in both casual conversation practice as well as textbook work! If you are thinking of adding some Norwegian lessons I can only recommend that you try a first lessons with her because even late in the evening I always leave her lessons energized and motivated to learn more Norwegian :).
