Hello, I am Linnea, a 24-year-old student from Bergen, Norway. I recently quit Veterinary studies in Lithuania to pursue my dream to become a Norwegian teacher. In my free time I dance ballet and enjoy hanging out with friends for movie and board game nights and learn lithuanian.
Learning Lithuanian has been a challenging experience, but I have been fortunate to have a supportive teacher who has made the process enjoyable for me. I hope to do the same for you as you embark on your journey to learn Norwegian.教学经验
As a teacher, my goal is to adapt to the individual level and needs of each student. I understand that every learner has a unique learning style, and I strive to create a personalized learning experience for each person in my class. I am patient and understanding, and I am dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.
I also understand the importance of flexibility in language learning, and I will not require homework if it does not work for you. Instead, I will provide you with additional resources and exercises that you can use to continue your learning on your own time, if you choose to. As your Norwegian teacher, I will tailor the lessons to your specific needs and goals. I welcome your input and suggestions for topics to cover in our lessons. We will work together to identify any areas of improvement and focus on building your language skills. I believe that mistakes are a valuable learning tool and I provide a safe environment for you to make them.
To facilitate our lessons, we will use a shared document that we both have access to, which will allow for continued learning and interaction even when we are not in the same place.
In addition, I will also provide you with a list of resources such as podcasts, tv shows, and music to support your language learning.5.0

Linnea makes learning a language SO much fun. She keeps the lessons interesting by having different activities each time (like guessing games, translation exercises, pronunciation exercises, and creating my own sentences) and she lets me make mistakes instead of just giving me the right answer. The lessons are difficult but she offers so much support and encouragement, so it feels like I'm chatting with an old friend who's just really concerned about my Norwegian pronunciation :) Tusen takk!!!

Originally I wanted to wait a bit with the review of Linnea's lessons, because a review is more meaningful after several lessons, but the first 3 lessons with Linna have been so good that I don't want to hold back.
I have now met several teachers here on iTalki as well as through my studies and I must say that no teacher has ever convinced me so much. Linnea manages to make an hour length lesson feel like five minutes, she is well prepared and does an excellent job of tailoring the lessons to one's needs. In addition, she creates an excellent learning atmosphere with her warm and humorous manner. Due to previous negative experiences and a general insecurity on my part, it usually takes me a long time to feel comfortable in a learning situation, but with Linnea I felt secure and comfortable after the first few minutes. I highly recommend any person to book Linnea's lessons! 😊

I've been having lessons with Linnea on regular basis, and it's been fantastic. I learn so much through her lessons and the knowledge actually stays. I'm very impressed how she prepares all the personalised materials every time and how she gives me the feedbacks. I can't recommend her enough as your Norwegian teacher!
