Hi, everyone! My name is Cherry, I'm from Guizhou, China. I am a Chinese literature student and studying for my master's degree now. I studied Teaching Chinese as a second language for 4 years and got my bachelor's degree in 2016. I am also a Chinese teaching vlogger on YouTube. Now I am living in Shanghai, I am a mandarin teacher here too.教学经验
1. I went to Cambodia to be a Chinese teacher in 2016 and 2017. I worked as a Chinese teacher in a Chinese school, I taught speaking and listening, then I gradually realized that I still needed more things in teaching, so I went back to university to study for a master's degree now.
2. I am learned modern and contemporary Chinese literature, so I am also familiar with Chinese literature, history, and philosophy, I can also help you with these if you need.
3. I lived in Shanghai, I worked for a mandarin school, I taught HSK1235 and conversation class.

I love teaching languages, making videos and photography. I'd like to give professional language lessons such as speaking, listening, and writing. I also can provide course audios or videos after class. If your language level is high, we will talk about some topics, like society, history or our life. Mandarin TeacherDuring my 15 months in New Zealand, I served as a Chinese teaching assistant at a high school and a Chinese teacher at an elementary school. I was responsible for designing and teaching Chinese language and cultural courses to 22 elementary school classes. I guided students aged 11-13 to understand the basics of the Chinese language and to gain insights into Chinese national culture. This experience has been immensely beneficial to my teaching of Chinese to children.

She easily matches my level of understanding and corrects me in such an open and kind way that I am never afraid to just speak regardless of the mistakes I will make. For example, which “confused” should I use. She will write some notes for you so you can revise what you have just learnt. When I started attending her class I was nervous to speak Chinese, however she allowed me to relax and practice my speaking and listening. I recommend you to attend her class.

Cherry is an excellent teacher and conversationalist. She automatically adjusts to speak at my Chinese level, so she's easy to understand and great practice for real human comprehensible input. She makes me feel extremely comfortable talking, and actually gets me to speak a lot. I feel like I'm talking almost the whole lesson, and time goes by quickly. I've noticed my rhythm and ability to express myself have improved a lot under her tutelage. For those wondering, she speaks with a standard Putonghua/Mandarin accent, and has excellent English. She takes notes throughout every lesson, which she sends to you after class to review. And also, she is just a kind caring person, and a teacher dedicated to my Chinese speaking success.
