I’ve had over one year of classes with Marta and I’ve already exceeded the level of conversational Portuguese I’d hoped to attain thanks to our classes. Marta is truly a professional instructor and provides excellent grammar guidance and cultural insights. Most classes end with a sore face from smiling so much. Take a class with Marta, you’ll thank yourself for it a year from now.

This was such a fun class. Honestly, it was great! We talked about the lyrics of a song and learned the expressions that go with them whilst chatting about Portuguese culture along the way. She also somehow managed to tie it to my life and activities. Can't wait to have more lessons with Marta. Very creative teacher.

She introduced ancient legends of Portugal that naturally turned into pronunciation practice —sharing the music of the language. You might notice that Marta costs more than other teachers - it depends on what you’re looking for. If you want deep, meaningful conversations — the kind that help you understand why something is said, what the backstory is, and how Portuguese actually works in real life — then Marta is absolutely the right choice.
