Jose Luis is a brilliant teacher! He is friendly, supportive, and patient. He has been flexible and generous with arranging lessons which I really appreciate. Lessons are well-tailored tour level and to your interests. Learning Spanish before felt like a Sisyphean task I had to force myself to sit down and work on but now Thanks to Jose Luis I can feel the progress am making and I have rediscovered the joy of learning a language and I genuinely look forward to my lesson each week. He should be charging double! So I recommend you start your lessons now because you will be getting an incredible deal.

Jose was very friendly and flexible, and he created a comfortable learning environment! I enjoyed his manner and he has a good knowledge of Spanish language. Jose's accent is also very clear and easier for Spanish-learners to understand.

I only had three lessons with Jose. But I can read Spanish well already, and today I learned some useful expressions and about basic verbs. Jose's class seems to combine the strengths of school and private lesson. The lessons are very structured and detailed, plus there's a lot of time to read and speak. And I also like the learning materials and pdf he gives me. It's well organized and perfect for reviewing. Jose is a thoughtful teacher who knows your needs well. I think that his class will be fruitful for you no matter what purpose you learn and what level you are.

I teach Korean myself and I am pretty picky when it comes to assessing a tutor for my daughter. Not only does Jose have the skills to teach and ready with well thought out systematic materials he is also very patient. He is customizing homework for our needs since she already has very busy schedule. His insights in history and geography is mixed in the class. On top of that since she is fond of him she is asking to have learn to play chess from him. The passion of learning a foreign language passed down from my dad to me and then to my daughter. And now my daughter can speak 3 languages fluently at age 8. Spanish is the 4th language that she is facing to challenge and we as a family have acquired effective methods to pick up languages along the generations. And I see that he understands the effective ways to learn a language. I am planning to continue to have her learn from him since I want her to have a teacher and not just an instructor.

As someone who is quite anxious about speaking, Jose was the perfect balance of patient, supportive and encouraging to help me. He is also very knowledgeable about the mechanics of the language and of language learning and seems to really love it. Highly recommend, he honestly isn't charging enough.
