Hello! My name is Tim and I am a native English speaker from the UK with a southern British accent. I am a Cambridge CELTA-qualified professional English teacher and a classical musician. I am passionate about languages, music, learning about other cultures, and meeting new people.教学经验
As someone who studies Spanish, I know how challenging it can be to learn a foreign language. I have taught students of diverse nationalities and different levels, and I therefore understand the varying needs of individual students.
In my lessons I will adapt to you, focus on your needs, and help you with any difficulties that you might be having. Do not be afraid to ask me about something as many times as you like – I am very patient and always happy to help! My lessons are based on the ‘communicative approach’ to language teaching; this means that I will encourage you to speak as much as possible (whilst I listen for any grammar issues and gaps in your vocabulary) and provide you with feedback so that you learn to communicate using the target language.
I can help you to widen your vocabulary (including colloquialisms and idioms) and we can also work on intonation and pronunciation so that your English sounds more natural. We can use a variety of materials during lessons (such as articles, audios, textbooks, videos etc.) and talk about topics that interest you.
