Hi, I'm Isaac Dieujuste. I'm Haitian and I live in Haiti. I'm 33 years old. I do love talking with people. I'm very passionate of teaching and learning languages. This is why, I'm always in touch with various culture. In my free time, I sing, I read books about leadership and personal growth, etc. I travel a lot all around the country and l like diversity.
As a teacher, I spent 4 for years at Applied Linguistics College and 4 years at Upper Normal School from the State University of Haiti learning languages. Today, I have 8 years of experience in teaching Haitian creole, French and English. I'm a passionate and adaptive teacher. I believe that no language is difficult to learn if the learning is based on motivation. This is why, I always encourage my students to get a motivation while learning a new language. To make my students feel comfortable I like to create a good connection with them so that we can achieve the lesson's goals more easily. That's why, every single class must be enjoyable for both, teacher and students.
Actually, I use the communicative approach in my language teaching. I believe that the student should be in the center of the teaching. Like the linguist, Noam Chomsky, I can help my students to acquire a new language unconsciously. But I can customize the lessons to the needs of each student. Isaac is the most patient person in the world! I had such a great experience speaking with him even though I am a beginner and kept forgetting my vocab or not understanding him (because of my very poor comprehension skills). He was extremely kind, and kept encouraging me to keep speaking and it allowed me to feel comfortable enough to shed my inhibitions and attempt to converse. If you are a newbie in French, I cannot recommend him enough!

J'ai eu un excellent premier cours de créole avec Isaac. Il est clair qu'il maîtrise parfaitement sa langue et utilise des termes linguistiques qui aident quiconque, aussi passionné que moi par l'apprentissage des langues, à comprendre rapidement les subtilités qui rendent le créole si spécial. J'ai hâte de passer d'autres heures avec lui.
