I have more than 14 years of experience in teaching Arabic language for non-native Speakers. Greetings! I am Mai, a native Arabic speaker and professional Arabic language instructor based in Cairo, Egypt. With over 14 years of experience, I specialize in teaching Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian Colloquial Arabic to non-native speakers, as well as Arabic for Specific Purposes tailored to individual needs. My expertise spans all proficiency levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners seeking to refine their conversational skills or parents wishing to introduce their children to this beautiful language. I hold a Ph.D. in Education from Cairo University, with a specialization in Curricula and Methods of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers. I have been learning Modern Standard Arabic with Dr Mai since 2002. (Read my previous reviews) She teaches with sincerity, patience, and kindness. Her lessons are well organised, and she always provides notes after each class for revision. Now I am learning Egyptian Arabic with her from the beginning. Egyptian Arabic requires proper guidance and a distinct approach, making learning with an experienced teacher crucial Dr. Mai explains clearly and makes learning comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
