I am a portuguese native speaker, from Portugal and i am a qualified teacher with a BA in teaching of portuguese. I am currently taking a MA degree in Portuguese as foreign and second language. I am an easy going ,friendly and funny person. I like to read, watch Netflix and learn about other cultures.

I have been teaching portuguese to foreigners for more than 10 years, in high schools, universities, and language schools. I also teach students individually.

I adapt the teaching methods according to the student´s goals and to their learning styles. I use a variety of materials, resources and strategies in order to make the students feel confident and improve as much as possible their proficiency in portuguese. I use a communicative approach: use of the language in context, simulation of real communication situations, and use of the grammar in context, to make it easier to understand.

A Superlative Lesson! An excellent lesson on comparatives and superlatives, that developed out of a casual conversation. As always, Margarida was entertaining and informative.
