Hi! I'm Elsa, a native Portuguese speaker from Cape Town, South Africa. I'm a language teacher with 3 years of experience teaching English, and now I’m excited to teach Portuguese as well. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a translator and child educator, gaining valuable skills in communication and working with learners of all ages.
I have a passion for languages and connecting with people. I’m currently learning Spanish and French, which gives me insight into the challenges my students face when learning a new language. Outside of teaching, I enjoy the gym, watching movies, exploring new hobbies, and listening to music. I love talking about culture, travel, and many topics.教学经验

The conversation class today was off the charts!
We didnt have a particular topic chosen for today’s class and that was just fine - the way that we were able to get right into the conversation and ask each other different questions about our different Cultures was incredible!
At times, I forgot that I was a student taking a class- I really felt comfortable just talking and letting go of my mistakes; I received feedback when I needed it and kept the conversation flowing.
This teacher is very curious about others and asks a lot of questions; she also answers questions if you’re also a curious person that likes to ask about things, in that case an hour conversation class Will feel more like 25 minutes.
Great dynamic today and I’ll be looking forward to the next one soon!

We had a great first class together this morning ! Elsa is very easy to talk with and was willing to speak about so many different topics with me- I really appreciate the insight that she provided on her culture !
Also, she made conversation class feel like a very normal conversation between two friends! Very recommendable for anyone looking to practice Portuguese in a natural manner !

Another good class with Elsa! Had some good general conversation to start and ended the class on a positive note doing a question & answer exercise on different topics! Nice relaxed environment for Portuguese conversation
