My name is Julian and I am a freelancer working with different things and traveling as much as I can. I live in Greece for the time being and love to learn about and live in new places. I'm born and raised in Sweden although my family is originally from all over Europe and even north Africa. This has led me to hearing a lot of different languages growing up and really getting interested in both learning and teaching. I started teaching Language online at the start of 2020 and I got a lot of good feedback from my first students as well as getting some help from a colleague working as a Swedish teacher herself. This led me to consider really pursuing teaching as a career.

I like to be as responsive to the students requests as possible so depending on why they are learning the language I like to adjust the lessons. My personal belief (and also how I learn myself) is that the best way to learn is to be engaging with the language while having fun. I also encourage my students to dig deeper into the culture as this will really help them grow in the language I like recommending movies songs etc. As a person and as a teacher I am the one that tries to get through every day/task with a smile.

I really believe in teaching through comprehensible input. Meaning that my lessons are based around a lot of language exposure ideally in something the student finds interesting. I like to use the students goals and interests to make a tailor-made lesson that they will enjoy and therefor thrive in. I also have some language books, flash cards techniques and pronunciation practices that I use with my students.
