Namaskara! I am Ajit, a dedicated Kannada language tutor with expertise in teaching students of all ages, including young learners, teenagers, and adults. My focus is on immersive, conversation-based instruction tailored for expatriates, travelers, professionals, and those with Kannada-speaking partners or school curriculum requirements. Professionally, I am also a photographer and animator, blending creativity with education. Passionate about continuous learning. I firmly believe that life is an endless learning journey, where we both teach and learn from the world around us. I have always enjoyed teaching others. I've taught languages to the school kids around my neighborhood for few years as a home tutor and in those days I learned different techniques to teach to different levels of learners. I also learned that everyone has their own speed while learning and as a teacher we need to understand that speed and teach accordingly. I've also conducted a few photography workshops in some NGO's in my city. I will be teaching Kannada, mainly in conversational method because language is all about how we communicate with others and speaking is one of the main way of communication. I will focus on teaching how to talk to people casually as well as formally with the proper grammar skills. I will also include reading and writing exercises in my classes accordingly.

Ajit is a fantastic teacher: very personable, attentive, attuned to detail, and very engaged. Very knowledgeable about Kannada grammar but also pragmatic about the necessity of developing conversational skills and workaday Kannada. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or brush up on their Kannada.
