My name is Daniel, I'm half Portuguese and half English. I have a Bachelor's degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures and a Master's in Education of English and French.
I love languages and linguistics, but I also love music. I sing and play piano.
I listen to a lot of Pop, but I also really like classical music and Jazz.
I love comedies yet somehow always end up watching horror films in cinemas.
I also like reading books and playing video games, but I rarely have time for that nowadays, mostly due to study.教学经验
I have been teaching languages since 2017. I have taught children and adults in all levels. I'm quick at pointing out recurring mistakes and I work to find the reason behind those mistakes and to make sure they don't become a habit. I'm also a huge grammar geek.
I believe language learning should be a pleasurable experience and that everyone has their own way of learning. As a teacher, my goal is to help you improve your learning methods as well. You don't learn languages just with lessons, you also have to find other ways of immersing yourself.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My lessons are a compromise between what you want to learn and what I know you have to learn. If you tell me what your interested in or what motivates your wants to learn a language, I will try to create content around those topics to make the lessons more enjoyable.
I like giving some sort of homework, whether it is a written assignment or watching a movie, reading an article. These activities not only allow you to keep learning beyond our lessons, but also give us material to talk about as the lessons continue.我的教学资料

Daniel is not only an excellent teacher, but also a wonderful person. He knows a lot about Portuguese grammar and culture. He was extremely helpful in my preparation for the CIPLE exam! I warmly recommend Daniel to anyone interested in starting to learn Portuguese or improving their current level!
