🔐 In order to learn a language effectively, you need to spend as much time as possible with it and use it in practice as soon as possible. Learning German or Indonesian with me means putting your language skills into practice through meaningful and enriching conversations.

1. ✅ We chat about any topic that interests you (we can decide on the topic in advance).
2. ✅ I adapt my speech to your level, but I will always try to push you a little further out of your comfort zone.
3. ✅ I note new terms and corrections for you in the chat box or in a spreadsheet.

Johannes is a fantastic, engaging, caring, thought-provoking and knowledgable teacher. We have lots of fun whilst improving my German. I have tried other Italki teachers, and he has by far helped me the most. I have gone from quietly sitting in a Zoom work call entirely in German, to confidently hosting it only months later. He is adaptable to my needs, and helps me to focus on the areas that would make my German more native. I highly recommend his lessons. 10/10

Ohne Zweifel, einer der Beste Italki Lehrer. Er ist sehr freundlich, hilfreich , gibt mir gute Tipps and korrigiert mich auch oft (Aber auf eine respektvolle Art und Weise). Er gibt Ihnen auch viele Einblicke in die moderne deutsche Kultur und das Alltagsleben in Deutschland.

I have been learning German with Johannes for ca. 6 months. He has helped me so much with the language. Our course were always not only fun, but also very informative for me. We have covered such a wide variety of topics. He is a dedicated, kind, and fun teacher. Can only recommend it :)
