Zak is a wonderful teacher and a very kind person. I am very happy to have found him. The material he uses for the structured lessons are great! He is well prepared for every lesson and teaches a good balance of grammar, vocabulary, written and oral comprehension as well as speaking and writing. He gives homework to practice what we learnt in between lessons. He is extremely knowledgable and has a great way of explaining things. I feel my French progressing with him and he is very encouraging. I highly recommend him!

Zakaria is always calm and patient. He is an exceptional teacher who teaches with warmth, kindness, and great sensitivity. I’m probably not the most diligent student. I don’t always prepare for or review my lessons as seriously as I should. At the moment, his lessons are my only real opportunity to stay connected with the French language. I also truly enjoy our conversations, and that makes learning French with him something I always look forward to. Zak is a great teacher! In lessons, he strikes an appropriate balance between getting the student to express themselves in the target language as much as possible while also ensuring that he provides scaffolding/support where required so as to build confidence. Zakaria is, of course, an excellent teacher, but even before that, he is simply a wonderful person. I don't actually need to speak French in my daily life, so maintaining my motivation to keep studying can be very difficult. And yet, I continue to take his lessons early in the morning—even on my days off! I think that fact alone says a lot about how much I enjoy and value his lessons. He gives me a reason to keep learning French, even when my motivation isn't always there. Thank you so much, Zakaria, for your wonderful lessons and for helping me continue this journey!
