5 stars ***** Now that you've found Vanessa's profile, stop looking for other tutors. I've had a few dozen classes with Vanessa and my Spanish has improved tremendously such that I'm now able to speak at a level I could never have imagined. She's a very safe pair of hands if you want to take your Spanish to the next level and a real pleasure to talk to.

I continue to love my classes with Vanessa. In every class we dive into a relevant social topic (e.g., today we talked about depression, in our last class we talked about fake news) that's connected to my personal and professional interests. Vanessa always comes with a series of thought-provoking questions that keep us talking, and I really enjoy the conversations we have. She does a great job of understanding what I'm trying to express and providing the vocabulary or phrasing that I'm missing, which has helped me to learn a lot of thematic vocabulary in a very short time.
