My name is Eirini, I am from Crete and I live in Brussels.
I enjoy traveling, reading self-improvement books, listening to music, meditating, and finding ways to become better every day.
I relax and enjoy the Greek lessons as I am allowed to teach my favorite language but also because I come into contact with other people. I love getting to know other people and as they learn from me I learn from them.教学经验
I have Master's degree in teaching Greek as a second language, I have a strong foundation in effective language instruction. My teaching journey began with assisting immigrants in my hometown, and over the past few years, I've transitioned to teaching Greek online.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I blend traditional methods like books and homework with exciting and modern approaches such as dialogues, role-playing, scrumptious cookie recipes, catchy songs, and various educational games. Irini has prepared several videos of a brilliant Greek stand-up comedian for today, which we used to practise listening comprehension, speaking and new words. Irini's approach is always holistic, she conveys so much more about the Greek culture and way of life in addition to the language, this makes every lesson so precious.

I was so lucky to find Eirini in Italki - highly recommend her, especially for beginners. She is patient, knowledgeable, kind and makes learning fun. Her clear explanations and engaging style make mastering the basics easy and enjoyable (after 2 lessons, I can read the alphabet!). Looking forward to next lessons!

The lesson with Irini was great fun again. We practiced listening comprehension with a great song and video about Greece and studied a bit of geography at the same time. I'm always in a great mood after a lesson with her. 😊
