I just finished the first step of my language program with Alexis, and it has been an amazing experience! I started our classes at an A1/A2 level and, thanks to his teaching, I'm now moving forward with confidence to B1. What really stands out about Alexis is his personal approach. Instead of a rigid textbook or a boring lesson, he always takes the time to understand his students' lives, interests, and goals. He builds every lesson around my own context, which makes me feel more engaged and helps my brain absorb the information more easily. I have been working with Alexis for over a year and a half and it has been an absolute pleasure. I've tried so many teachers over the years but what makes Alexis stand out is not only his skill in tailoring lessons precisely to your needs, an overall great human to relate with. With him, I've learned more than just the French language but also a lot about integrating in a new country, art, politics, etc. He is really motivating and inspiring to constantly do better each time.

Not only are these lessons filled with enjoyment and inspiration, but Alexis is also a miracle worker! I met him as my first tutor only 3 weeks ago, and even in this very short time, he has already given me the tools and strategies I need to thoroughly and successfully prepare for my upcoming DELF B1 exam. I had originally signed up for the exam last month as a personal challenge, but then I quickly panicked when I realized I had no idea about how to actually prepare. Alexis to the rescue! In just these few lessons, he has broken everything down for me, given me real-life strategies for each part of the exam, and guided me through many practice simulations so that I will know exactly what to expect on the exam day. Instead of feeling overwhelmed as I did before, I now feel organized, disciplined, and calm about how to prepare each task, step by step. I still have a month left in my studying, but my readiness and confidence is growing by the day, all thanks to Alexis.

Alexis is doing a great job at slowly taking away my fear of speaking in French - especially through his patience. It's still a long road to becoming comfortable, but at least I'm starting to not stress as much. Today's lesson was on the different stages in one's work and private life, while also practicing the future and past tenses. Talking does help with retaining the learned grammar and vocabulary a lot!
