After two lessons with Valeria I have only good things to say. She is friendly, easy to speak with, and creates an environment in which I feel comfortable asking questions. Her approachable demeanor allows conversation to flow naturally. Lessons feel like having a conversation with a friend. All the while, I am learning and practicing my skills. Valeria is great at accommodating my current level of Spanish. She encourages me to speak about topics that push my abilities in ways that feel natural and approachable; and I have left each session feeling excited about new words and insights without feeling overwhelmed by new content. We speak in Spanish nearly the entire time, but I can tell from her responses when I ask how to express particular ideas that her knowledge of English is very good. She speaks clearly and has a good audio setup that lessens the burden of trying to understand a second language over a video call. I’m looking forward to taking more lessons with Valeria.

Valeria is a very patient, understanding, and fun teacher! She was able to tailor the lesson towards my learning style without focusing too much on just one skill. I liked that she was able to determine when I was struggling and adjusted to help me remember or understand concepts better. I would highly recommend her!
