Halo! Saya Hesti dan saya tinggal di Yogyakarta. Teaching bahasa Indonesia has been my passion since 2014. I not only teach the language but also the cultures so learners can dive deeper and know more about Indonesia. I possess a master degree in Language Teaching so I know how to teach language to learners with different characters and learning styles. I teach both online and on-site lessons (5000+ hours).

I also love learning languages so I know the easiest way to learn a language. The class will be fun as I'll give you lessons based on your needs and learning goals. In each meeting, I'll provide a material to learn and we can practice using the language both spoken and written. I'm flexible and adaptive. Take the class and enjoy the learning.

Folks, Hesti has a unique talent to provide feedback constantly. How does she do this? Through her infinite facial expressions and body language you can understand if your language is making sense to her instantaneously. This is possible because she is so connected to you in the lesson and it passionate about teaching. I recommend her with my highest praise, please give her a shot! By the way she is credentialed and continues to learn a foreign language herself, so she knows what we are going through.

Hesti is a good teacher Bahasa Indonesia. This was the first lesson through Italki, but i've had many lessons from her in the past through another provider. She is always cheerful and very motivating. I can now hold a conversation fairly well in Indonesian without feeling insecure, thanks to Hesti!

Hesti was my favourite Indonesian teacher (after I tested out almost a dozen!) to help me with my intensive learning project in preparation for 4 months of travels through Indonesia.
She was patient and helpful, and very easy to understand, which is a lot harder to find than you'd think, as many other teachers spoke too quickly. This made it a lot easier to switch our lessons to be through Indonesian much quicker.
Would highly recommend her to anyone considering taking on this language for your language practice guide. She's the best!
