Italki 2022 Top 1% French Teacher🇫🇷. My name is Florence and I was born in Paris. I have been living in the US for almost 30 years and while I was spent most of my professional life in finance, I ended my career of Senior Financial Controller at FreddieMac as a Chief Happiness Officer.
My preferred approach to teaching French is that is should be fun, stressless and focused on giving students a level of fluency so that they have the confidence to handle a conversation.My lessons are non-formal and usually based on magazine articles, current stories covering a wide spectrum of topics from entertainment to sport and breaking news.
My preferred approach to teaching French is that is should be fun, stressless and focused on giving students a level of fluency so that they have the confidence to handle a conversation. While reading and writing is important, being able to communicate in a foreign language is from far, in my view, the most satisfying and rewarding aspect.
My lessons are non-formal and usually based on magazine articles, current stories covering a wide spectrum of topics from entertainment to sport and breaking news. For those with homework who need a more rigid structure, we can also base the lessons on text books for a more theoretical approach.我的教学资料

Flo is a wonderful conversationalist. She invites you into her world which makes for an authentic experience while speaking la lange française. She is friendly and genuine and lets one relax during the conversation which seems to pass way too quickly.
