Another excellent lesson with Serena, I feel my ability to communicate my thoughts and experiences in Mandarin has improved greatly since I started studying with Serena. Our classes always have a relaxed atmosphere, where I can ask questions and not be afraid to make mistakes, I cannot recommend Serena highly enough!

I just finished my second lesson with Serena, and she deserves all the stars I can give her and more! She is the most organized private teacher I have had in Chinese, which makes the lessons a dream and gives me a clear direction in which to work to improve. For our conversational lessons, she prepares materials for me to revise ahead of time, and then does a great job in leading the conversation during the lesson, allowing me to use the new vocabulary and concepts from the materials. At the same time, she keeps track of all the words and sentences I struggle with and need to revise, but in a way that doesn't disrupt the flow of the lesson or conversation at all.

The most patient teacher ever! Serena is the best! highly recommend 🏆
