Hi! I'm Mónica from Mexico City. I studied Linguistics and Spanish Literature, and I’ve taught over 5,000 classes on italki. I love languages and my dream is to speak as many as possible. I use a natural, conversational approach so you can start speaking Spanish from day one. I’ll adapt to your pace, goals, and interests — culture, food, music, travel, or daily life. I discovered my love for teaching by helping exchange students at university. Since then, I've combined my passion for Spanish and Mexico City in dynamic, culture-rich lessons. I also give cultural tours, so I’ll share language tips and local secrets too! I focus on helping you speak from day one, using natural methods, patience, and encouragement. Mónica is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable and answers my questions no matter how ridiculous. She also customizes each class based on what I want to work on as well as the areas in which I could use more practice. The homework she gives is useful and interesting. I highly recommend taking a class with Mónica.
