Hello! My name is Melissa, but you can call me Mel.
I’m an English teacher from Johannesburg, South Africa, with over 4 years of experience helping students speak confidently and naturally. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate; a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law, and I’m certified in IELTS/test preparation.
I specialise in:

My lessons are relaxed, personalised, and focused on real conversation. I create a comfortable space where you can speak freely, make mistakes, and improve with clear feedback.
I believe that respect is the best policy, therefore I treat all of my students with respect. I am a very patient, kind, and approachable teacher. My students can feel free to be themselves and talk to me about anything. My goal as a teacher is to help improve all my students' confidence with English. I will be focusing on conversational English, Grammar, pronunciation, and English Fluency. I also have a Corporate background, therefore I can assist students with corporate-related needs such as (preparing for an interview, preparing for a presentation, or even going over a business plan).
