Conatsu

Again a great lesson with Conatsu-sensei! I feel I am making very good progress and I feel much more confident with my speaking skills, especially in speaking freely without a lot of notes. Today we talked about giving directions, which was a lot of fun and I could again get very interesting insights on Japanese culture I didnt know before :)

Having had lessons with other tutors who mostly offered a free conversation format, I was looking for somebody who had higher qualifications and could teach grammar in detail. I was pleasantly surprised in my trial lesson because she seemed very well prepared, she has lots of activities to offer. I was a little nervous because she doesn't speak English, so not having English to fall back to was a little scary but she is really good at understanding what I mean even when I'm not able to form the sentence I want. Her speech feels very clear, I was even surprised because of how well I manage to understand her despite the occasional word I need to search in the dictionary. On top of her skills as a teacher, she is very nice to talk to and I feel very safe talking to her. So far I have taken a trial lesson and a grammar lesson and I'm very happy with how much she's already managed to teach me. I'm very excited and I'm looking forward to continue learning with her. Thank you so much!

conatsu先生 is the best. I've taken many classes with her and I highly recommend her. Not only is she very organized and helpful, but she's also very fun to talk to. Thank you for the classes so far.

Conatsu-san is an excellent teacher. She always knows how to keep a conversation going and has an amazing ability to understand what I was trying to say even if it came out as complete nonsense. She's friendly, patient, and always offers great feedback. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to practice speaking Japanese!
