Maria is so encouraging and welcomes all view points. As she’s told me, “there are no stupid questions” and “there is no right or wrong answer.” Although speaking with natives is nerve wracking, I’m slowly coming out of my shell and that can only be attributed to Maria’s warmth and patience. It is clear that she doesn’t only see this as a job, but as a passion and something that she loves doing. I look forward to every weekly class with Maria and I can’t wait for her and I to get to know each other even more. :) Thank you for all you do!

I've been learning Spanish for about 5 years and María is one of the best professors I have come across. She is very warm, approachable, and kind while at the same time professional and observant so she can correct my grammatical errors. I felt like I was in a plateau until I started having classes with her and I know I will progress farther. I really enjoy her organization of classes and notes and she will give me informative handouts via digital pdf after class to review more. María really goes above and beyond, if you're brand new to learning Spanish María will help you begin with a strong foundation and if you're looking to build off what you already have María will take you to the next level. Highly recommend!
