Megumi

Megumi-sensei is a kind and patient teacher. She is great at speaking at an easy to understand level and breaking down words that I struggle with. Also, she makes her lessons enjoyable, often revises previously studied concepts and is very encouraging even when I make many easy mistakes. I would absolutely recommend as a teacher to anyone looking to learn Japanese at any level!

I've been having conversation lesson with Megumi San for about a year now, and I am very grateful that she had helped achieve a somewhat fluid conversation level. I still make a lot of mistakes, of course, and sentences are not completely natural, but that something to work on my side. Megumi has helped achieve confidence in not being afraid of talking, she patiently waits until I finish what I want to say and shows me the proper way of saying it. Its the perfect balance of keeping the conversation going and correcting me in the way. She is very fun to talk to and easy going, would totally recommend her classes.

Megumi speaks very clearly and slowly which is good for comprehension and makes it easy to have a conversation. She made a very quick accurate assessment of what I would understand which I appreciate. She reinforces the grammar using Japanese in a very natural way. Good lesson. Thank you!

Megumi san is an amazing teacher. I started with close to zero knowledge of the Japanese language, and in one year I feel like I progressed by leaps and bounds. I can now speak in simple sentences and have simple conversations. I can also write short stories using kangi, hiragana and katakana. Megumi san's teaching style is engaging, interactive and very supportive. She asks a lot of questions that help me learn new vocabulary and also understand the Japanese sentence structure. She also uses an e-textbook that has listening material, grammar, and vocabulary. I would definitely recommend Megumi san to any Japanese beginner learner.
