Hayoung is really lovely and curious about what you have to say! I usually come to her pretty last minute (don't be like me!) with random, niche conversation topics and she always comes through. She listens carefully to what you need from her, and structures her lesson around your communicated preferences. I really love studying new vocabulary with Chinese characters, and knowing this, she always has explanations ready for me and challenges me to guess meanings of words from my background knowledge. Thank you teacher <3

Awesome teacher! Would highly recommend! Hayoung was able to explain concepts to me in Korean in a manner that was at my level of understanding. Very professional, kind, and invites questions!

I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Hayoung. There wasn't any specific topic we learned, more of her asking Qs about me but I liked the session so much. She is super nice and friendly. The way she speaks is very encouraging. When I couldn't answer in Korean, she'd tell me the answers thru the chatbox and would ask me to repeat the answer a few times until I'm able to form the sentence correctly. Will definitely book more lessons with her!! :)

I always have fun in class with 하영 쌤! She makes learning Korean comfortable and easy by being a very patient teacher. In her class she provides topics that allows us to practice speaking Korean naturally and in a fun way. She gives lots of feedback in a positive manner so I never feel embarrassed about making mistakes. I look forward to learning Korean with 하영 쌤!
