I really enjoyed my trial lesson. She acknowledged what I already knew and provided me with useful new words and phrases I will use in my every-day life. I was nervous about saying things incorrectly but she made me feel very comfortable and made sure I knew that I was doing well. I will definitely be taking more lessons!

I had my first lesson with Асель, who was on time, organized, and patient. We went through the Kazakh alphabet and some common phrases. We also discussed what I wanted to learn, as far as goals and what I wanted from our lessons. She patiently listened to my mispronunciations and corrected me. She also praised me when I pronounced something particularly well. She is very easy to talk to. I think I will be able to learn quite a bit with her.

Assel explains everything clearly, and is encouraging and supportive throughout the whole learning process. What I like is how open she is to suggestions, listens and adapts. Her teaching methods are varied too: quizzes, games, and homework to reinforce what we learn. She makes grammar easy to understand, and I really enjoy the classes. I always leave feeling like I have made progress. I would definitely recommend Assel to learn Kazakh!
