Another great lesson with Sylv! When I started studying French, I was really shy and almost couldn't speak, but thanks to Sylv, the situation has completely changed. He made me feel at ease from the start and always provided interesting topics and constructive feedback to help me improve my speaking skills.

Sylvanus is an excellent French teacher. I’ve been having lessons with him for a few months, and with him I have improved my speaking, listening comprehension and pronunciation. He isn’t afraid to challenge his students, but he is always able to provide clear explanations for difficult points. I highly recommend him.

cannot recommend Sylv highly enough. In addition to our conversations, his books on conversational activities are outstanding! I’m seeing new approaches to things I thought I knew. I though I could order at a restaurant in Paris…done it numerous times. Using my classroom French worked, but now I understand how to do it using current expressions and idioms. And that doesn’t even touch on the argot. Finally thanks to Sylv, I can better understand what I’ve been hearing (though this will take time, I see now). And his patience must be legendary! Working with Sylv has taken my conversation to the next level..Merci beaucoup!
