I'm an American English tutor with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and a TEFL/TESOL certification. I specialize in helping adults improve conversational fluency, build vocabulary, refine grammar, and speak with greater confidence.
I’m currently based in Luxembourg and have experience teaching students from all over the world, including through volunteer work with refugees. This has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to a wide range of learning needs and cultural backgrounds.
Outside the classroom, I organize events for the American Women’s Club and stay engaged with Democrats Abroad. I believe language learning should be as engaging as a great conversation over教学经验
Over the past few years, I've helped adult learners develop greater fluency and confidence in English. Many of my students already speak at an intermediate or advanced level, but they want to go further — to expand their vocabulary, refine their grammar, and improve pronunciation.
I believe these three elements — vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation — form the foundation of any effective conversation class. My role as a teacher is to create a space where you can actively practice, make mistakes, and grow — all while keeping lessons engaging, relevant, and tailored to your needs.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I work exclusively with adults (18+), offering one-on-one lessons from pre-intermediate to advanced levels. This allows me the flexibility to choose materials and tools that best match each student’s goals and interests.
Before each lesson, I send a short article or video clip for you to review. During class, we discuss the content in your own words, helping you develop fluency and confidence in expressing complex ideas. Reading aloud gives us the chance to clarify vocabulary, explain grammar in context, and fine-tune pronunciation — gently and consistently.
These materials are always a springboard for real conversation, which is the core focus of my lessons.我的教学资料
