I’m an American living in Luxembourg. I have a Bachelor's Degree in "English Language and Literature" and a
TEFL/TESOL Certificate.
Since I don’t speak French and can’t have a regular job I kept doing what I do best, helping people to practice their English language skills, professionally and as a volunteer for a “Refugee Social Organization”.
I enjoy socializing with the English speaking ladies who are members of the American Women’s Club. I’m the Chair for an activity called “Ladies Luncheon Delight!”. Once a month I choose a different restaurant for us to go; it’s great fun!
I’m also, very active with my political group, “Democrats Abroad Luxembourg”.教学经验
For the past few years I have helped students to acquire fluency in the English language.
It came to my attention that a lot of students who already speak the language at some level, feel the need to practice it in order to expand their vocabulary, improve their grammar and focus on their pronunciation. Therefore, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Pronunciation are, in my humble opinion, the three main pillars of a good and productive English conversation class.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Since I only teach adults, one-on-one, (18+) Pre-Intermediate to Advanced levels I feel free to choose the tools used in our classes.
I email articles and video clips ahead of time so they can go over and prepare the material accordingly. They recount the video clips' general ideas using their own words.
The texts are read out loud so I can follow and answer any question about vocabulary or grammar. The pronunciation will be corrected at all times.
The video clips as well as the articles generate CONVERSATION, which is the sole purpose of the classes.
As a result, we cover conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Goals that are set out and achieved in each class.我的教学资料

Bad network. I wish she would be more patient even when she feels frustrated not understanding my English. I'm not sure if she is aware of her facial expression, but It's easy to misunderstand her with her seemingly frustrating facial expression.

She was disgusted of me, her face expressions just gave me a terrible lecture time, I know ı'm not a native speaker but when I did not understand what she said as a response she just replied it was an easy question why can't you answer it. I'm with a different teacher now and don't want to come back here again.
