Hi! I am a native Japanese speaker from Tokyo, currently living in Belgium🇧🇪.
I used to be a bartender and I still love to talk with people and discover their life stories🌏
I have experience teaching Japanese for 3 years now with over 500 lessons on italki and other platforms.
I give lessons to adults, over 18 years old at any level!

・General Conversation about our daily lives
・Read an article from NHK Web News Easy (https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/) together
・Go over the article again and review vocabulary and grammar
The lesson with A0/A1 Person (60 mins)
・General conversation with suggested phrases
・Go over the phrases and vocabulary that we will cover today
・Conversation role-play practice
・A bit of grammar for basic conversation
・Practice grammar
The lesson with B1/B2 Person (60 mins)
・General conversation
・Presentation (homework) from the student on specific topic
・Discussion based on the presentation

I was thinking these days that I still have a long journey in my Japanese skills, but having this classes help a lot.
As I said to my friend yesterday, I don't know if I'll become fluent in Japanese in the future, but the me right now, even making a lot of mistakes, is VERY happy having classes with Hanami sensei. She's really like a friend to me now, and it's always fun to learn more and chat about life in the meanwhile. 💙✨

はなみさんすごいです。She does a great job getting you into conversation and is really easy to talk to. はなみさん also really helps break down sentences well to hear them, then repeat them with her to better learn natural pronunciation and speech.

I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Hanami先生！She's really easy to talk to, and gave me great corrections, as well as suggesting new useful phrases. She also asked what I wanted to create a plan for lessons that would work or me!

Hanami-san is a wonderful teacher! We worked through a few easy articles in Japanese and practiced conversation with vocabulary and grammar corrections as needed. A great way to practice speaking and comprehension in a friendly and comfortable format!
