Hi! My name is Anna, I’m 27 years old and come from Finland.
I’m passionate about languages and I’d love to share this passion with you by helping you learn and get confident as a Finnish-speaker.
I’m native in Finnish and Swedish, fluent in English and Korean (한국인이라면 한국말로 가르쳐줄게요!) and a bit rusty but quite conversational in French. I have a background in journalism and communication and at the moment I study and work in filmmaking. I've recently moved back from Seoul, where I lived and studied for two years. I've also lived in Australia and France before.教学经验
I’ve worked as a language teacher for both kids and adults, and I self study myself. My philosophy for language learning consists of two pillars:
1. A versatile variety of input and practice, with different levels of effort required.
2. Free speaking.
Speaking is the missing piece of most conventional language learning. It’s also for sure the scariest part.
I would love to help you gain confidence as a Finnish speaker (even if you are a total beginner) so that you can have positive interactions actually putting to use the things you have learned.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
We can actively adapt the lessons to your preferences. We can use books, but also films, youtube, cartoons, news, podcasts or any material you would like to use!
We can speak freely or have conversations about chosen topics. I don't think grammar is the most effective way to learn a laguage, but as a bit of a nerd I like talking about grammar too, if you'd like!
During the lesson we will comprise a list of learned vocabulary and expressions, which we keep rehearsing in different contexts, until they feel natural for you to use. I can give you fun homework tasks as well!
I also like giving tips to life in Finland and share experiences about living abroad.我的教学资料
