Bonjour! I’m Élise from Poitiers, France—a lifelong language lover fluent in 4 tongues (currently tackling Italian!). My passion? Helping students *practice* French consistently through engaging, real-world conversations and cultural immersion. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me walking my sleepy dog Sibyl or diving into art and history books, I am also studying linguistics at the moment in the hopes of getting accepted in a master program in September 2026. As a teacher I use the same techniques I use when I want to learn a language. There is 1 secret about learning a language : practice, practice, practice.
I know it's nothing new but it works. During our first classes I will help you set up a daily home practice focused on the 4 skills of a language: reading/ writing/ listening/ speaking.
I will also share with you a file that I keep updated regularly about French movies, TV shows, series, documentaries, podcasts to watch. Learning a language is also learning about the culture.
I am pretty laid back and rather talkative but I will make sure you have results and that the practice is enjoyable for you. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Anyone learning French or any other language have a similar objective : being able to understand a francophone and express themself with ease. It is not everyone's objective to become a linguist.
To that effect we do need to talk about the G-word. Grammar, yes grammar is important for you to understand on a surface level, what is most important though is for you to apply it correctly and that will happen with practice and correction from me.
My beginner- intermediate classes are split in 2 parts: technique and practice. Each class we will practice French without fail
For conversation classes, prior to the class I will send some content and then we will talk about it.我的教学资料

she’s a really good tutor but the problem is she just starts with examples and like doesn’t explain thoroughly.like she doesn’t explain how to pronounce unless i am struggling.i just wish we would’ve started with the alphabet and like beginning.in her video she says she helps from the beginning but like its just words.
