Bonjour! I’m Camille, a native French speaker with a life beautifully split between the vibrant streets of Brussels and the colorful chaos of India. French is my mother tongue, and I’m equally fluent in English, which helps me connect with students from all over the world. For over four years, I’ve been teaching on Italki, specializing in creating relaxed, confidence-boosting French conversations—imagine chatting with a friend over a cozy cup of coffee, where mistakes are just part of the journey. My teaching style is warm, patient, and tailored to make French feel natural and accessible.

With over 4 years on Itlaki, I have the patience and drive to help anyone wanting to practice, talk and share with a native french speaker.
My lessons are convivial and very chilled, with me there is no pressure, we simply follow an appropriate rythme as I like to take my time and offer the opportunity to my students to do the same, I do my best to offer a kindly and friendly practice space so come as you are :)我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My method is essentially based on conversation, exchange of point of views and activities in french, with the help of English if necessary. I like to adapt to the needs and goals of the student. Depending on the level, I bring the student in a real life, casual conversation which ease the learning process and build confidence. I like to broaden the topics and vocabulary of the student with podcasts/articles that we can discuss.
My classes are very chilled and friendly, you can take the time you need to find your words, don't worry, patience is one of my strengths.

I’ve been taking lessons from Camille for over two years now, and it’s always been a treat to speak with her! She’s an incredibly patient teacher, and having conversations with her feels very natural, like talking with a friend at a cafe. She teaches me new vocabulary words and phrases, and is always patient and understanding when I mispronounce something or take a while to find the right word to say. I highly recommend her!

This is the first time that I write a review here
I have already taken a few classes with Camille, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to practice their French.
As her profile says she does not offer pre-prepared classes where you follow a certain course, but more Conversation practice.
And conversations with her are really good, she makes you feel comfortable while guiding you and correcting your mistakes.
Another good thing about her is that she lets you lead your learning experience, if you want to go in a certain direction, she is always open to try it with you and even help you find some materials, whether to do grammar exercises, or talk about a series or podcast or just casual conversation...
