Hello. My name is Pearl from the Philippines. I worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher for a year and as a Nurse Educator for 4 years using English as a medium of instruction. I've been an online English Tutor for 4 years now. Teaching has always been my passion that despite finishing first a nursing degree, I found myself pursuing a Degree in Professional Education.教学经验
As an ESL teacher, I taught English grammar, speaking, and daily conversations to students off all ages. I conducted individual and group classes. It is a challenge to adjust teaching styles to the students’ different English levels. However, I see this as an opportunity to explore new and better ways to teach my students. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I believe that the first step to achieving any goal is to plan specific steps to reach that goal. The motivation must come from the student. Yet, the teacher plays a vital role in keeping their students motivated by continuously finding ways to make learning fun and worthwhile. Moreover, a sincere word of encouragement can go a long way towards boosting their determination to reach their goal. With regards to my teaching style, I encourage my students to converse in the English language no matter how many mistakes they make in the process because I believe that is the best way to learn.我的教学资料
