♟ 好高興認識你，我叫Brad，音樂人，是個香港土生土長的泰國人，畢業於香港大學，主修化學及音樂，後來到西班牙進修電影音樂作曲碩士。畢業後回到泰國，進入第五年，工作環繞音樂作曲、制作及語言教學。自小學習泰文、中文、英文及普通話；現在正學習法文。不時會作各種語文的語譯。喜愛科學、熱愛音樂、思想離不開人性與神學。
♟ Nice to meet you, I'm Brad, a musician, a Thai raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from HKU major in Chemistry and Music, I continued my film scoring study in Valencia, Spain. Currently I'm living in Thailand, working as a music composer and language teacher. Since my childhood, I have been learning Thai, Cantonese, English and Mandarin. And now, time for French! Sometimes I also participate in translation and interpretation works. Science and music are my passions; while humanity and theology are my power fuels.教学经验
💬 Cantonese
If you aim at conversational Cantonese, let’s work together with the help of the Jyutping system. No worries if this sounds less, as dealing with six Cantonese tones would be fun and crazy enough at the moment!
But if you are also interested in learning traditional Chinese characters, let's take this further step! Chinese characters are the spirit of the language - you look at them, you feel the language.
💬 Thai
While Thai scripts are somehow pictographic, they are either consonants, vowels or tone marks. This is important - it means once you understand them and know the rules, you can read almost 90% of Thai words!

Our brains love information grouped instead of scattered. Whether they are topics, the film and podcast voices, or our conversation itself which lead us to new words and phrases, they all matter. They will all be stored on your very own individualised google sheet / google doc / anki flashcards.
♜ Revision
Constant exposure, whether intense or loose, is the key to learning a language. We don't only understand a certain phrase structure - we need to make them part of us. I've been taking classes with Brad for over a year and he has helped me make great progress with my Cantonese. The lessons are perfectly tailor-made to my needs. Brad regularly introduces new learning methods for me to try out. It never gets repetitive. At the same time, he brings structure and continuity into my language journey, which I really need.
