My name is Acácio and I'm from Curitiba, in southern Brazil. I love learning different cultures, history, arts, genealogy, etc. I love travelling and I use it to learn different aspect of other cultures. I'm very polite, patient and interested on peoples' opinions, thoughts, beliefs and traditions. I studied Latin at the University (Universidade Federal do Paraná) as well as French and Italian. In 2016 I lived in France and in 2017 I got the DALF C1 certificate in French language. I work as a French teacher in Curitiba since 2017. Here I would like to teach both Portuguese and French. As I said before, I'm really polite, patient and I prepare classes based on students' interests and necessities. I appreciate the communication approach, which helps developing more spontaneous speach and conversation. I help as well with grammar, preparing for exams and the other skills: reading, listening and writing. To develop all these skills, I prepare classes based on students' necessities and on their personnal interests and hobbies. I use interculturality as well on teaching: I talk a lot about culture, differences between cultures, which helps students understanding better the language they are learning.

I enjoyed talking to Acácio! We split my lesson by speaking both Portuguese and French (he teaches both of these) — and it was fun! He is very personable — makes good notes for the student on special points to improve on WITHOUT interrupting the conversation — and it was like going to a café with a friend and talking in a very pleasant atmosphere.
