Hi! I’m Martina, a certified Italian teacher and linguist from Italy I help you really speak Italian—not just study it. My lessons bring the language to life through culture, food, travel, and real-life situations (I’m also a former pastry chef, so yes… recipes might be involved 😉). I’m a very patient and supportive teacher, and I always make sure you fully understand each concept before moving on, using clear and simple language adapted to your level. Having studied Japanese, English, and Spanish, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, so I tailor every lesson to your goals, interests, and pace. We can start with a level assessment and build a transparent learning path together. You can choose conversation-based lessons or a more structured approach with texts, audio, dialogues, and exercises. I also include fun and engaging materials like videos, songs, and authentic content. You’re always welcome to suggest topics or grammar points you’d like to focus on. Beginners are absolutely welcome! I speak English and a bit of Japanese (日本語がちょっとできます!). Let’s turn your Italian journey into a dolce vita adventure! 🍝

With Martina’s patience and expert guidance, I’ve made consistent progress—not just in grammar and vocabulary, but in my ability to express myself naturally. Always enjoyed my lessons with Martina! Time flies by so quickly and there’s always many opportunities to speak and express myself. Appreciate the patience from Martina while I struggle to form sentences and she makes me feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from them. I’ve made a lot of progress since I first started from scratch in Italian. It’s exciting to now be able to read and discuss news written in simple Italian. Other than speaking, I also get to practise listening and writing skills. I feel like I can catch spoken Italian much more than ever. Looking forward to the next lesson!
