Hi, I’m Mily. Nice to meet you!❤️ I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. 🌸 Recently, I moved to Canada and now I live in Vancouver!🍁 I speak English and a little bit of Spanish. 🌺 I love learning languages so I studied French, German, and Mandarin for a little bit as well. I went to study abroad in the US for a year. Also, I went to school in Budapest as a short study abroad. I love watching TV shows from all over the world, traveling, and learning about different countries! 🌏 Also, I love watching anime, and I like playing games sometimes. 🍡 I am excited to meet you all!💗

I teach Japanese online for more than 4 years. I also have experience teaching Japanese at universities in Japan and, the university in the US. I can teach Japanese in English. I teach children to adults. For beginners and intermediates, I usually use the GENKI textbook. For advanced, we can focus on speaking, so we can choose topics for each lesson to discuss. I also love anime. So if you would like to, we can learn Japanese through anime or manga, too. For children, we can learn Japanese in a fun way! We can sing Japanese songs or watch fun short clips to increase your vocabulary! I love teaching Japanese, about Japan, and Japanese culture.

Mily is a good teacher, she walks you through the Genki textbook, gives homework and answers all of your questions. After about 15 lessons, I know the hiragana and katakana and I’m able to recognize a handful of kanji. I can read/comprehend and speak/respond to basic everyday sentences. I have fun every class and definitely recommend.
