I'm a Japanese teacher from Tokyo, currently living in Mexico.
I help learners who understand Japanese grammar but struggle to speak naturally and confidently.
My lessons focus on conversation practice to improve fluency, expand vocabulary, and help you sound more natural in Japanese.
In class, you can speak freely in a relaxed environment. I usually correct mistakes after you finish speaking, so you can focus on expressing yourself without interruption.
My lessons are ideal for:
- Learners who know grammar but lack speaking confidence
- Students who want gentle feedback and practical speaking support

I had a great first lesson with Kaoriさん. Her bright and warm personality immediately made me feel like I was speaking with a friend I've known for a while. She spoke at my level and taught me new words whenever I struggled to come up with the right vocabulary. Overall, the lesson was really fun and the hour just flew by. I am always happy after a lesson with Kaori-sensei. She's got a great personality - always cheering me on when I'm frozen trying to remember a grammar point or word or helpfully correcting me when i go wrong :) Hopefully with more conversation lessons I can become more confident in my Japanese.
