Hello there! Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Jodie and I come from the UK.
I have had a varied professional background, and prior to teaching, I worked on films, television, and live theatre, across a variety of production and stage management roles.
From 2017-2020 I lived and taught in Shenzhen, China, and I have been learning Chinese for the last four years（ 我希望能用中文帮助你学习英语。)
One of my favourite things about being an English teacher is talking to people with backgrounds that are different from my own, and learning about their lives. I also love talking about travel, careers, language, education, family, theatre, movies, podcasts, food, and books.教学经验
I have been tutoring both online and in-person for the last five years, and I have also spent several years in China, teaching ESL, drama, theatre studies, and filmmaking at a bilingual middle school.
I have experience helping students work towards their IELTS exams, teaching English to assist students in specific business and academic environments, assisting teenagers attending international schools, coaching my students for public speaking events, and putting together individualized reading and writing programs, based on my students' interests.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
