Another great lesson with Pius. We discussed some recent political events in Tanzania, the conflict between Iran and Israel, and finished reading a BBC Swahili article on tobacco use. He's extremely good at helping me through the difficult sections as usual.

Mwalimu Pius is not only a language expert, but is also a wealth of knowledge on many topics. You will learn proper Swahili as well as historical and cultural aspects. It's a joy to listen to him speak with precise Swahili. His love of teaching is apparent in each lesson. Highly recommended.

Le problème est technique, puisqu'Italki ne marchait pas, nous avons dû utiliser Zoom qui a coupé au bout de 20 minutes, ensuite, on ne s'entendait plus, ce n'est qu'à la fin que zoom a recommencé à marcher mais sans image. On va essayer Google meet la prochaine fois. Mais le professeur est très sympathique, dommage que la technique empêche de bien travailler.

Had a great lesson with Mwalimu Pius again today. We discussed the Eid Al-Adha holiday, Trump's ban on 12 countries and read a BBC Swahili article about tobacco use. As usual, he helped me with pronunciation, difficult words and provided deeper explanations. His love of history comes through during his lessons. We also embark on various impromptu side topics as we think of things.

Mwalimu Pius is awesome. He always comes up with interesting topics and can explain things well in English and Swahili. He knows proper Swahili very well and is excellent at explaining the nuances between different yet similar words. He's cheerful and provides a good energy to the lesson.

Had a great conversation with Pius today. He's very patient, has clear pronunciation and knows how to adjust the conversation to your level. He uses the chat to point out difficult words, which is a big help.
