Hiroko is an excellent Japanese teacher. Her feedback is very detail oriented and personalized. Just reviewing her written feedback is tremendously helpful, saving you time gathering and organizing what you've learned. I felt so grateful at the level of attentiveness she put into the class session as well as her feedback.

She is really attencious when explaining and make it really easy to understand. She tailored her lessons to my level and is perfect, not too hard nor too easy. Hiroko sensei is incredibly encouraging and kind. She is also very thorough with her preparation and how she conducted the class. I received preview material way ahead of time that we used as the foundation for our free-talk and original material blending class as well as detailed class notes for review after the class concluded. I have benefited a lot from the class and I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Hiroko sensei is helping me on many levels to improve my Japanese speaking ability. She gently corrects, maintains focus throughout the lesson, has a very pleasant demeanor, and encourages me to express myself. I have gone through a number of teachers on this platform, experienced numerous teaching styles, some good some not so good, and I can wholeheartedly say that she is one of the best that I have encountered. I am continuing my study with Hiroko sensei indefinitely!

寛子先生 and I had a free talk for about an hour. It was only my second time speaking with a real Japanese person online; before this, I had mostly been studying on Duolingo and practicing with AI. I have spent about 300 days on Duolingo, and my Japanese score is 52, which is close to the end of A2 level. Although the lesson required a B1 level, which I had not realized when booking it, 寛子先生 asked me to prepare some topics in advance so that I would have things to talk about and would not get completely stuck. The conversation turned out to go very well. We covered many topics, including some that I had not prepared for, and I was able to understand most of the conversation without major issues. 寛子先生 also helped by typing key words while we were talking, which made it easier for me to follow along. I would love to talk with 寛子先生 again in the future.

ひろく先生 was very kind and very understand! Very patient with my Japanese level of understanding but she was able to walk me through the text book lessons and understand the material better! Highly recommend!
