Hello! I'm Giada and I hold a Master's Degree in Teaching Italian to Foreigners, so I know how to adapt our lessons to your needs.
I am also a linguaphile, as I love all languages very much.
I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish and I'm learning Russian.
As a student, I know how tricky learning a new language can be, but I also know it's very exciting. When I teach a new language, I feed that excitement and forget the rest. Only positive vibes here!

-watching TV series (especially 90's masterpieces like The nanny etc..)

-geography, folklore, cultures and traditions

As a teacher, I have taught more than four thousand lessons on this platform!
I'm positive and optimistic, and I truly believe that we need a proactive environment to shine.
The most difficult part of the process is TO SPEAK, that's why I try to give you the tools to be independent and confident in speaking asap. This means that you'll start speaking since our very first lesson!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My method is TAILORED to the single student as we are all different and we learn in different ways.
The first step is knowing the students, their language knowledge and their aims.
The second step is creating a solid grammar structure that will last a lifetime, using specific exercises and practicing the conversation.
I also love COMPARING LANGUAGES and that makes easier for you to learn faster as I can explain the differences and similarities between your mother tongue and your target language.
Last, but not the least, I teach the REAL ITALIAN, meaning with this that I love teaching the expressions and words that we Italians use every day. I will explain why and when we use them!我的教学资料

Giada is an excellent teacher. She cares so much about helping me learn, and her lessons are always productive and interesting. She makes me feel confident by encouraging my strengths as a student. If I make a mistake, she explains it gently and without judgement. She adapts to the interests of the student, as she is happy to explain grammar or just have a conversation. She is genuinely curious about whatever I want to discuss. We both enjoy learning about the other's life and country (I'm American). Her English is great, too! Lessons go smoothly even when I'm constantly asking "come se dice...[English word]." I highly recommend Giada!

Giada is an excellent teacher! She is genuinely interested in my language learning, and is great at celebrating little "wins" with me! Giada is very encouraging, patient, and helpful. She is on-time for our lessons, and has great resources. She is great at explaining things, and when I'm struggling, Giada comes up with creative ways to help me stay focused on my goals.
She is also SO fun to work with! Conversation flows easily, and I have a great time during our lessons. Learning a language is not always fun, but Giada makes it a delight! I always look forward to our lessons!

I always enjoy my lessons with Giada. Today as we were unable to discuss some planned work because I hadn’t finished it, we had conversation all lesson.
This was great fun and Giada enabled me to extend my verb tense usage and vocabulary. Chatting for 30 full mins was an enjoyable challenge.
I must not miss the homework deadline again though! (Giada was very gracious about it)

Giada is a great teacher. I am quite new to learning Italian so I appreciate her patience and ability to pace the lessons to my level. Our lessons focus on both the details of grammar and basic conversational Italian. Highly recommended!

I always enjoy my lessons with Giada. She is very patient and explains everything until she is sure that I completely understand, which is excellent. She sets interesting and enjoyable tasks for homework and responds very quickly to any queries that I have.
