Hi! My name is Rebecca. I am a native English speaker who was born and raised in the United States.
I am also an intermediate speaker of Mandarin Chinese, so I know how difficult learning a new language can be.
My hobbies include learning languages, playing with my pets, watching TV and movies, discussing science (particularly biology), and learning to play the piano.教学经验
I want to make the process of learning English fun for you! Additionally, I want to make the lessons a place where you are not afraid to make mistakes. I also encourage you to keep practicing outside of the lessons and for the long term. I believe keeping up your motivation to learn a language is the most important ingredient!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My lessons are flexible and customized to your preferences, interests, and specific goals. Our first lesson can be used to establish those, as well as determine your level. Please let me know in advance how often you would like to be corrected. Unless you are just starting out on learning English or tell me otherwise, I suggest holding all lessons in English only. I will use easier words, body language, and pictures to convey ideas or words you may not have learned yet. Lessons can be structured or conversational, just like having a chat with a friend!
I also have a graduate degree in biology. I can assist with academic (especially science) writing and presentations.我的教学资料
