Lamprini Levetsiou

I have had several lessons with Lambrini. Before I started, I was fluent but not at C2 level. Now, after merely a handful of lessons, I am not only past C2, but I can very comfortably have deep conversations about a vast range of topics from political to environmental to pop culture and even ecclesiastical. This is all due to Lamprini’s organized, motivating, and encouraging teaching style. She is always on time, and she has very effective materials that are customized to whatever level you are at. I very highly recommend Lamprini if you are ready to take your Greek to the next level! I have been learning Modern Greek with Lamprini for about a month. Her lessons are always stimulating and interesting. In such a short period of time I have progressed very quickly thanks to her classes: she offers high quality material, crystal clear explanations, a personalized learning schedule and a structured teaching method. Lamprini has helped me develop all aspects of Greek: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

Lamprini is an excellent teacher, she explains things clearly and methodically. Her learning tools are well organized and her experience with many languages really comes through in her teaching.

I really like Lamprini! She is very knowledgeable about both Greek and English. She takes time to explain colloquial uses and patiently answers any question. The grammatical differences between Greek and English are significant, but she teaches them in a gentle way that isn't intimidating. Lamprini is an amazing teacher, and she would be a great choice if you want to learn Greek! Most of us have limited time (or money) to spend on private lessons. I found that I can make the most of that time by also using some of the various online resources and books available - plus, you really need to do the homework she gives you! That way, I really get the most from an excellent teacher like Lamprini!

This is our first official lesson together and I really enjoyed it. We reviewed and learned new information about verb conjugation. Thank you so much for your guidance and your patience with me. I really appreciate you! I look forward to our next lesson.
