Hello! I'm an analytical person who has made foreign language acqusition a lifestyle, and I endeavour to help the customer to achieve the same. I also like to receive and share knowledge about many other fields, such as history, nature and more practical things.教学经验
Do you want to practice your passive language skills? Or are you a beginner looking for guidance? As someone who has tutored pupils from all walks of life, from absolute beginners to advanced learners, I may be of help at any stage.
My manner of proceeding during the lesson is to construct an image about my pupil's situation and provide advice.
Although I'm quite familiar with grammar and other theory, I try to teach everything through context to make it meaningful. In that way learning is engaging and fun, and it's easier to wrap one's head around things. I value that the pupil enjoys the learning process and gets to freely choose the conversation topics. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My coaching is highly indivudual; I tailor the lessons to match the needs of my pupils, which vary greatly. What's important is that you have consumed some related content in order to have passive knowlege to practice. The more actively the pupil speaks, the more there is to analyse as a coach. I have a habit of taking notes as my pupils talk. During my lessons, we stumble upon aspects which are challenging for the pupil. I explain these and we practice them with examples. At the end of my lessons I provide feedback and when beneficial some homework about the topics covered.我的教学资料

Jerian is so consistently helpful and thoughtful about his lessons. He is always prepared, yet is also always ready to follow a conversation topic if needed--if we suddenly stray into the use of a different particle than we had intended to discuss, no problem. His Herculean knowledge base and quick ability to pivot makes the impromptu discussions as valuable and interesting as the planned ones. His homework is always interesting and challenging, but I always feel like we collaborated on it by the end. If you are looking to learn Finnish or Swedish, you've found your teacher.

Today was a great lesson. Jerian is endlessly patient and understanding, and his humor and kindness as well as his incredibly thorough understanding of the inner workings of Finnish make his lessons a pleasure and a challenge that makes me want to keep learning. Finnish is bananas. I'm lucky to be learning with him.
