Hello! I’m Akari.
こんにちは！私の名前はあかりです。italkiで日本語と英語を教えています。
I’m native Japanese speaker and online Japanese teacher.
Until now, I’ve taught over 3,000 Japanese lessons for 500 students since April 2013.
My lesson is suitable for working professional, entrepreneur, or students who love Japanese culture, history, or willing to traveling to Japan.
I can teach from completely beginner to advance students.

SWY24 included around 260 youth from 14 participating countries.

SSEAYP38 included around 328 youth from 11 participating countries.

あかり先生は素晴らしい先生です。Akari-sensei is an exceptional teacher. Extremely knowledgeable, but also down to earth and patient. I appreciate the mix of textbook instruction with casual conversation. I also really respect her business hustle with her airbnb tours. And I hope to take one of her tours one day when she's not escaping from the Kyoto hot summers haha.
